Carabiner for aerial hoop, aerial silks, hammocks

When you start training with aerial silks or aerial hoop in the comfort of your home, you need the right equipment. One of the most crucial components is carabiners. Why? A carabiner, also known as a snap hook, is a small part that allows you to connect a swivel to the ceiling installation set. The carabiner ensures the safety and stability of the entire setup. Remember, a swivel is not necessary for mounting silks or circus hoops, it's mainly used during performances/competitions.

Carabiner for aerial silks 

The adjacent carabiner is relatively small. Its size allows us to "not lose height" when suspending a aerial silk, or 7m hammocks in smaller rooms. It is sufficient to hook 1 knot of the yoga hammock onto it. For 7m fabric hammocks, we recommend purchasing 2 carabiners (for two-point mounting) or 3 carabiners (as our sets contain).

All sets are standard with one carabiner - if you want two points, you must purchase an additional one. Only an additional ceiling installation set is needed to install the hammock or silk.

ATTENTION:
The carabiner is chrome-plated steel, chrome may wear off during use and its particles may flake off. The carabiner can be used until a max. 1mm wear inside the material. After such wear to a thickness of 1mm into the material (steel) - the carabiner should be discarded. To avoid material wear, a strap/sling should be placed between all cooperating metal elements, which are also available in our store:
